Neglected skin on legs

It’s time for legs to be released and i’ve realised that I’ve neglected the skin on my legs more than usual this winter. I’ve started exfoliating, regular moisturising but they’re not looking great. Any other suggestions?

I started using TreeHut scrubs, slightly painful but honestly have made such a difference. The scent stays for ages on the skin as well and feels so soft

What’s not great about them? What are we trying to improve here … ?

Dry, scaly, veiny. I do moisturise them but not enough I guess. I’ll up the exfoliation and moisturiser 👍

I've been slapping on hyaluronic acid as soon as I've towelled-off, and then moisturising 10-15 mins later. Any moisturising helps, but the hyaluronic acid has made a massive difference.

Please can I ask which HA you use?

I'm not a spa day kind of woman but under persuasion I partook this winter. Had an oil and salt all over body scrub and it's undone about 5 years of ageing on my legs in particular. God knows what was in it but I had to be hosed down afterwards.

The sanctuary salt scrub is good for dry flaky skin.

Tell us more....products used? Where was the spa?

I'm relatively new to using HA, and I've tried 3 brands so far: Simple, Boots and Clinique. The only one I didn't like was Boots. Didn't like it on my face, that is. But because I cannot just throw stuff away, I tried it on my legs. It's lovely on my legs, and effective. I find it gloopy and sticky on my face, but perhaps it's the gloopiness that makes i good on my legs.
