First date since having a baby

Had a baby 6 months ago I am finally planning a night out with my husband soon and not sure what to wear. I’m 30 years old size 12 on top 12/14 on my bottom since having a baby. I normally wear classic clothes preferring quality and cut over quantity. I also hate my upper arms so prefer them covered. I now after many years have some
decent boobs that aren’t as flat as a pancake so happy to show them. I want something flattering and possibly a little more sexy than normal. Will be looking to go for a nice dinner at a restaurant similar vibes to the ivy.

Do you have a well fitting shirt? It will cover your arms and be flattering across the chest. You could wear with cropped wide leg trousers. Chain restaurants like the Ivy tend to have quite a mix of looks, from jeans and trainers to flowery dresses, but if you want to dress up a bit more go for it!

What do you feel nice in/like to wear? I’m very much a dress person, but to me the sexy shirt/trousers look (Pulp Fiction style), is very attractive! But that’s probably because I’m not a tall slim woman! I’m a shortish, larger sized woman (12-14), and going out I wear a miniskirt, high neck sleeveless silk top (my mother, being French, has drilled it in to me that boobs on show is the height of tackiness!!), flat pumps. A sort of Sezane preppy look, but it makes me attractive and it suits me. What do you usually wear?

For a dinner out I would often wear skinny jeans, silk or frilly shirt, black blazer with gold buttons and heeled knee high boots. Sometimes a skirt with a silk shirt and knee high boots.

I think that sounds perfect then! Maybe update the look by swapping out the heeled knee high boots and skinny jeans, if you don’t like wide leg, cigarette pants could work for you?
