Has anyone mentioned to clean out and stay on top nose blackheads / sebaceous filaments?

I have dry, easily irritated skin that nevertheless get clogged all over the nose. Tiny grey dots, some colourless, some darker, so a mix. I have tried variety of 2% salicylic toners, ordinary serum, clay masks, regular retinol user, niacinamde. Nothing shifts those little fuckers, at worst I get inflammation around nostrils, at best - nothing. I know to be careful about using everything at once, ceramides, skin barrier, sunscreen…

Just wondered if anyone has managed to actually achieve a clean, non-bumpy nose?

I do a weekly charcoal clay mask (mine is L’Oréal) and I’ve found it’s made more difference than anything else I’ve tried.

I don't know what the formulation is so maybe you've tried something similar, but clean and clear blackhead clearing cleanser cleared mine in 24 hours. I nearly didn't buy it becuse I can't stand products that make ridiculous claims, but it did!

Oh wow, I always thought this couldn't be fixed. Which one did you buy? I just googled and there seem to be a few in the range.

An oil cleanser, I use the superfacialist one. The idea is that oil is attracted to oil, follow your with a water based cleanser for a double cleanse. I use a L’Oréal aloe one.

I do really notice a difference in how obvious the pores are on my nose if I don’t oil cleanse for a few days!

I use Eradikate every morning to wash my face, that has made a big difference. I use a different cleanser in the evening, but it's the Eradikate that made the difference. Two things - leave it on for a minute so it has time to work and clean your nose very gently, imagine you're washing the skin of a ripe peach without tearing it.
