Shoes for the office

I need to be smart, sometimes very smart (board meetings). I don't wear heels because I am too tall anyway and they feel dated. Any suggestions for shoes which can be worn with black opaques when chilly and with bare legs and a longer dress when warmer? Heeled ankle boots used to work ok but, again, feel dated now. We're talking a relatively old fashioned environment too....

What about loafers, they are very 2025?

Loafers, have a dark colour for winter and a lighter one for summer? They need not be too chunky. Or a low block heel shoe? Get some nice ones from Russell & Bromley

Yes I do have some loafers but some can look a bit chunky to wear with dresses. Maybe some more streamlined ones...?

Have a look here for loafers, t bar shoes, etc. (Sorry I can’t filter out boots.):

I think loafers are the answer - black with tights and nude or light colours for bare legs.

I'm not a big fan of the look of loafers, but I've got used to them, they're comfortable and, as long as they're not too chunky, look ok for woworkI have a Clarks pair from last year that'll be digging out for bare legged work dressing.

My dream summer work shoe is the perfect sling-back, low block heel, almond or square toe, but none in shops last year, or at least not at my price point.

You haven’t given a budget?

For something a little more fancy, without going to Ferragamo prices, you might like

Bally

Budget probably Russell and Bromley range. I also need to be able to walk to said office/tube etc so don't want to be too precious about anything.
