Affordable stylish watch for tiny wrists

Help! I have very small wrists and nothing suits. Metal watches don't work as they just slip straight off. Looking for an affordable, non-smart watch that looks stylish for work etc.

do I look for something really tiny, or do I lean in and go for something chunky, that doesn't swamp me?

Expandable watch straps?

I have a Fossil mini Carlie watch with a leather strap similar to this:

You're better with a link bracelet. I have tiny wrists and have the extra links removed to get a good fit. I have the mini sport Ebel.

That's $3,100. The OP said affordable!

But as another with very small wrists I agree about the link bracelet. Any high street jeweller, or one of those watch battery and repair shops, will take out the surplus links so that it's a perfect fit.

Have you asked if the links can be removed? Most metal watches have removable links so they can be adapted to any size

Yes, that's exactly what I do. I'm tall, but I do have very small wrists.

It doesn't have to be a hugely expensive watch.

My husband bought me a Pulsar watch as a wedding present. It originally came with a leather strap. Once that wore out, our local jeweller/watchmaker fitted it with a dress metal strap for me. It was straightforward for him to adjust the size for my watch and to remove enough links for it to fit.

After my husband died, I also had links taken out of his everyday watch (Seiko) so that it stays on my wrist - I now use it for everyday use and keep the Pulsar for dress wear.

I do have another everyday watch with a leather strap - it's easy enough to punch an extra whole in leather straps.

Sorry @Gymnopedie I missed the affordable bit! My dh bought me that watch duty-free over 25 years ago for less than a third of today's price (I didn't check the price before posting). It's a great buy as it goes with both siver and gold jewellery, you can swim in it yet it's fine for dressy occasions.

I have an Olivia Burton watch and had links removed to make it fit. It cost about £125. I bought online so paid £10 to local jeweller to remove links.

I got this Sekonda watch in a John Lewis store, they removed links for free to fit me perfectly. Less than £50 in total. I love it.

My DD has a solar powered Citizen, £45 from the 'bay but around £100 new. It has a metal bracelet, she had to add a link, but they can be adjusted either way, the link was around £20.
Being solar powered, there's no battery that will need changing, it's always got power.

I have tiny wrists and I just get links removed so it fits.

I have this watch and it is a lovely watch to wear and looks way more expensive than it is.
As I bought it online I had to pay £5 to have links taken out locally.
