Faded microblading / nano brows

Hi, I feel like this may have been asked before but I can't find a thread. I'm wanting to get microblading or nano brows done but keep seeing issues about a few years later the fading and blurring, and the top-ups eventually not working as there's too much ink and having to get laser etc etc...

So my question is, if you get it done once or maybe two or three times, can you then just live with the faded brows? (assuming they've not gone a really weird colour!). At the moment I have such sparse tails to my brows I have to pencil them in every day anyway, and some days just can't get the shape right 🙈 whereas I wonder if I've had microblading or nano brows done and they've faded it a little bit, at least I can just use them as a template to fill in? Has anyone ended up in that situation and actually liked the outcome even with faded brows?

I'm blond (greyer now) had microblading 3 times over 3 years. Last time 2 years ago. Now happy with brown/grey residue looking OK, or better giving me outline for brown brow pencil followed by blonde eyebrow mascara

Ah that's great to hear. I don't suppose you'd be happy to post a photo? Just of your eyebrows if you prefer.

I had mine microbladed and shaded, I've had them topped up a couple of times, they have faded slightly to a grayish colour in one small bit, but I love the shape of them so I'm happy to just fill in that little bit myself or apply a dye which also covers it for a couple of weeks.

Thanks, that's really useful to hear. I don't want to have my expectations too high that they'll look amazing forever but as long as they don't end up more work than my eyebrows are at the moment it feels worth it, and getting a good template to fill in would be so useful for me 😅

If anyone else happens to stumble upon this thread and would like to share photos of their faded microblading or nano brows that they actually like even after fading that would be fab!

I had it 3 years ago. It's faded now. No makeup on them at all.

I had a powder brow over 3 years ago haven't had them redone. They're softer and faded but have gone grey/blue or green. Ask your artist to do a warmer tone, this helps to stop it fading grey/blue, especially if you are a poc.
