Meroda colour changing foundation

Keep seeing this advertised on Instagram and it has great reviews. It’s white but changes colour to match your skin tone once applied. I’ve succumb and bought one, has anyone else tried it and is it as good as they say?

Very tempted but would be interested to know where it is manufactured and does it meet EU regs for makeup. I have heard of some awful stories from a dermatologist friend.

I bought this.
It's ok, doesn't give a heavy coverage. I tend to use it on days I'm not wearing makeup just to even my skin tone out.
It does change colour to exactly match my skin tone.

Hasn't loreal been doing one like that for years.

Yes I love L’Oréal BB/CC cream.

I bought a different brand from Amazon purely to trial it - I'm actually quite impressed with it.

I'm interested. But, first ... which bit of your skin tone does it match? I'd be a bit peeved if it magically decided my natural colour is red or sallow 😬

Actually, I'm assuming this technology doesn't exist (yet) and it's just full of tiny reflective particles. Can't be bothered to investigate and would rather hear from users of these miraculous creams!

Thanks all! I’ll will report back! Slightly miffed already that I bought it on their site with a discount code and it’s on Amazon with 25% off at the moment!

This is the one I bought. Sorry I should have said I bought a different brand.
Very cheap but not bad, I will buy it again.

Meroda colour changing foundation
RubiesandRose · 26/04/2025 09:53

So first of all I’ve reported my thread to change my typo as the foundation is called Meroda not Modera!

secondly, it’s arrived and wow! It’s surprisingly good. I used slightly less than I’ve seen used on tik tok videos and then built it up on my cheeks where I have hyper pigmentation from sun damage. Its colour matches really well and probably the best match I’ve ever had. Lovely smell, glides on and I’m really pleased with it. Will see how it wears throughout the day.

@RubiesandRose - I was just about to start a thread asking about this but decided to do a search first!

Are you still finding it good? I love L’Oréal BBC white/blending cream but wanted something with just a bit heavier coverage for going out out.

RubiesandRose · 04/08/2025 14:03

@Youdontseehow, I have mixed feelings now having used it for a while. The colour match is really good and consistency, coverage etc. but I do seem to find that it looks a bit paler/chalkier on my chin for some reason, so I do have to use bronzer there to even it up. Having said that, I’ve made my way through so many foundations never finding the holy grail, so in that respect it’s pretty good and meeting nearly all my requirements!

@RubiesandRose - thanks. I’m still pondering but as you say, the perfect foundation doesn’t exist well not at my budget anyway
