I’m in the market for a dress watch. I’ve got a big work trip coming up with a key event which is quite dressy and my Garmin watch isn’t going to look right! I need to wear a watch though as I’m involved in the smooth running of said event!
I think I’ve identified the style I would like but I’m a bit stuck between picking a brand. And yes, I know I don’t NEED to spend lots but I’m happy to splurge a bit, and want this to be something I’ll wear for a long time.
That said, it certainly shouldn’t be flashy. The brands I’m looking at are Omega and Longines - and I generally prefer the styles of the latter. I mentioned it though and husband pulled a face and said it made him think of old people (I’m in my early 40s). Is that a fair association??
Can you suggest other brands I should look at? Looking for a round face, bracelet style, in silver.
