Levi Wedgie Jeans

I have a love/hate relationship with jeans. I have multiple pairs and have yet to find a pair I actually like.

I'm between a 14 and a 16. The 14 fastens but is tight so I buy the 16 which feels comfortable but after a few hours they are slipping off my waist and baggy at the bum.

I saw the Levi Wedgie ones and loved the button fly. Decided to order. After googling I went for the 31W which is around a 14. Looking at the marks and spencer (my usual store for jeans) the levis are 1.5/2 inches smaller on the waist. I thought this would stop the slipping so hit purchase

But now I'm panicking. I need the jeans for a weekend away on 30th April. They are expensive but now I'm wondering if I should order a 32W (same waist size as the marks and spencer size 16). I pass 2 stores on the way ro the office but these jeans are member exclusive so nor available in store.

Has anyone bought these jeans and can advise about sizing. I know I probably will need to wear them in before my trip.

I am the same albeit between a 12 and a 14. Big tummy but skinny legs it’s so annoying.

I have the Levi 311 and they are epic best I’ve ever found. Were a bit tight for about an hour then (as my friend promised me when I purchased in Costco without trying on) they stretched and are the best ever. Give it a chance when you first try on around the house.

I've had a few pairs of these jeans and really like them because they fit my waist/hip ratio well. Advising someone else on sizing is near impossible IMO though, so I'd say order both sizes and return one.

I love the skinny 501s and 30w fit me as a size 12, but I would try 1 inch bigger in your situation

I couldn't ever bring myself to buy wedgie jeans. Who the hell thought to call them that.

Yes I was a bit annoyed when they turned out to be the best fit for me. Fortunately no-one knows what they're called when I'm wearing them.

I have a good amount of Levi's. But I hate that their sizing isn't consistent.

I don't have the wedgie but I tried on my normal size and they had that tightish feel which I always think is the right size. They always give a generous amount after a while. The only reason I didn't get them at the time, is because they only had ones with rips in them.

I also like the button fly on these.

So annoying that you can't try on on a store though.

I've ordered the next size up as well.

The reviews seem to suggest they are bigger in the lighter colours and the indigo are smaller. It's maddening that even the same style has size variations.

I also agree the name is dreadful.

Omg I love these jeans and just purchased another pair in a darker denim! I'm a size 8 and wear 26W. They are perfect for petites.

I queried this once in a different brand - why the dark blue was significantly smaller then the same style in paler colours and it has to do with the process of fading the denim. I think I was told the light denim gets washed more heavily and it loosens up the fabric

I love levis have many different styles. I find the wedgie fit to be tts, I'm a UK10 and wear a W28. They can be tight when first put on but they do loosen up.
Levis ribcage are lovely on too.
