Comfiest, easiest, everyday bra - walking, errands, school run?

I’m living in activewear at the moment, and I have this desperate desire to be comfy. I need an amazing t-shirt bra which is supportive but could wear all day, so it’s going to need a thicker strap and stretch around the rib cage.

I’m 32e so a lot that I’ve seen don’t work. Never have much luck with M&S. Never been happy with a bra from there!

Any ideas?

If sports bras aren't an option (and they really should be, because they are much more comfortable and I don't get impaled by underwires poking out!), then you might want to shop around, OP. Some supermarket underwear is of good quality and lasts a long time (e.g. ASDA), but might not look very fetching if it's required to do so!

I'm a fan of snag

The bra in the link below is from M&S. It is very comfortable.

I was going to recommend this bra too.

That does actually look like what I was imagining. Does it was ok? The moulded cups don’t move?

Another vote for this. I’m wearing mine at the moment, so comfortable!

@thas I'm a 36DD and DD is a 32GG. We both think it's great. Only ever been machine washed and it washes well.

@EmilyHampton i don’t think I could shop at a retailer who called one of their bras an “elderly woman bra”! Which by the way I can’t imagine many “elderly women” wearing.

I have reported all your dozens of posts. Every active thread has your ‘elanique’ promotion in it. You’ve clearly had a busy morning.

BitOutOfPractice · 20/06/2025 05:05

@LondonMummer ive just discovered that on another thread too. How deeply annoying. The products “she” is linking to are very odd as well! I wish I hadn’t clicked two links now dammit.

M&S flex fit, I wear a 32 FF and it is the comfiest bra ever, I’ll never go back to wired. Doesn’t give me a mono boob and has good support.

The elderly lady bras are for over 50s.....shoot me now if being 50 is elderly!

BitOutOfPractice · 20/06/2025 08:37

The problem I find with thr M&S flexfit bra is that they give me a bit of a monoboob look that isn’t very flattering for me.

I wear these. They are comfy but don’t seem to wash well

Cantonet · 20/06/2025 09:57

Boody bamboo t shirt bras are brilliant, soft & comfortable.
They're the only ones I wear now.
Those m&s Flexi fit bras give me a really weird shape with those moulded cups.
