Hen do outfit ideas

I’m off to a hen do next month and want to dress up a bit (to give an idea of what sort of level of smart - we are going for posh afternoon tea and other activities/cocktails).

I’m usually pretty casual but love clothes - I have lots of lovely jackets, jeans, trousers and knitwear. I’m not really a casual dress wearer.

I’d love some ideas of something to wear that’s dressed up - open to dresses but longer ones as don’t like to show my legs. But I’m feeling very uninspired by floral maxi dresses. And (no offence to them!) but I think a lot of the other women will be in floral maxi dress and sandals type outfits.

Maybe trouser suit or co-ords?

I’m tall 5ft10 and size 8-10, small boobs. Budget maybe £100. I wouldn’t need shoes, accessories etc as have loads/can borrow something if needed!

thank you!!

I'm 50, 5ft 11 and a 12 top/14 bottom, I love wide leg trousers or palazzo jeans and a fitted sleeveless waistcoat, I just feel more comfortable in something structured. Maybe with some lowish wedges, smart white trainers or chunky flat sandals.
I'm not into florals, I don't mind block colour maxi dresses but they have to be long enough, not that weird mid-calf length that looks a bit odd and frumpy on me.
