Summer trousers that hide 'apron belly'

I've always been overweight and after two c-sections, I now have a terrible apron belly. I hide it mostly by wearing high waisted jeans (multiple pairs of M&S magic shaping and Lily jeans) and dresses, but I would love to find some trousers for summer that are not hot, sweaty denim.

Before kids, I used to like wearing tan / navy tailored chinos, but every pair I try now are either too baggy around the legs or they cling to my belly bulge. Palazzo pants or wide legged jeans make me look huge. I'm 5ft7, size 20 (ugh) and very hourglass shaped (big boobs, small waist, big bum and belly) and with a long torso - I look my best in high waisted jeans and skirts, or empire line dresses.

Style queens of Mumsnet, what do you suggest?!

I live in M and S wide leg linen cropped trousers in the summer.

Tesco wide leg linen rich trousers are really forgiving.

In both cases - doesn't the linen crease the second you sit down? I usually avoid linen trousers for that reason!
