Help me style this skirt!!

I bought this skirt but didn't like the matching top. Problem is nothing seems to go with it!
So far I've tried:
Stretchy waistcoats in cream and light pink.
Black vest top.
White vest top.
White top with lacy bits.
One of those tops that laces up at the front.

Nothing looks right!

I'm a size 16-18, big boobs. Prefer sleeveless, short sleeves at a push.

it's gorgeous. Wish I had somewhere fancy to go and wear that. The top with it looks perfect, what a shame you don't like it. Where did you get it?

Something like that - there are different shades you can see which one matches well and would suit your colouring x

The skirt/print isn't very nice, that's the real issue. However, if you love it, then you need a simple top, so no lace, no lace/tie fronts. A sleeveless bateau neckline or even something one-shouldered or off-the-shoulder. Alternatively, something high at the front, deep swoop at the back.

Colour wise, black and white isn't going to work, you need to pick out one of the colours in the skirt. I'd go dark chocolate brown or even burgundy. A dark sludge green could work too, ditto a nude/caramel colour.

Like the idea of chocolate brown, might see if I can get a satiny cami.

I've just ordered the top online to try on. I'm not keen on strapless bras which is why I didn't buy it.
