Replacement for Clarins Beauty Balm Eclair

I need a new primer. To clarify in case I am using the wrong terminology I mean a special moisturiser type product that sinks in very quickly and you keep forgetting putting on right before makeup. I used to use Clarins but the product changed for the worse. Please does anyone have a recommendation for me? I don't wear makeup often so I am happy to spend a little on something really good.

I’d really appreciate advice on replacement for CLARINS BFB. How does NARS primer compare? Is BFB a primer? I find BFB works on puffy under eye area, any other options?

It's not strictly a primer but Weleda Skin Food is brilliant under make up, I use the light one. I used the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm for years until it became more expensive and less effective!

I loved BFB! The question was asked a while ago when BFB changed, and a couple of posters suggested Bobby Brown vitamin enriched face base, which I tried and liked. Worth a try, it comes in a range of sizes so you can buy a small one to see if it's what you want. I bought it from John Lewis.
