T-bar shoe for wedding

Hi, I am looking for a chic t-bar shoe with low to medium heel for a wedding, don't know the colour/s of my outfit yet so looking for options, or maybe a neutral color. I particularly want it to be soft, last time I wore new shoes to a special occasion I ended up with shoes full of blood from blisters. Any ideas, Price not too much of a barrier.

Thanks for the reply, but the problem with dancing shoes is that they have suede or leather soles, and the wedding is mostly outside, where you can't wear such shoes.

Have you looked at Ruby Shoo? They have beautiful shoes! Usually they have matching handbags too!!

Don’t wear them new - break them in first

Or look at Next forever comfort shoes, example in photo as I’m on the app

So true! You definitely need to break them in and have some blister plasters with you just in case.

Thanks for all the replies! I need a shoe though rather than a sandal, and a much lower heel than most of those...

Have you looked at Joe Browns - they have sensible nice shoes with a strap

Saltedcarameltiramisucheesecake · 16/04/2025 10:23

Have a look at Pavers. I got a pair there last year for a wedding, really comfortable all day. With a criss cross strap though (almost a t bar).

QuillBill · 16/04/2025 10:27

I love those @flatwhitestar

flatwhitestar · 16/04/2025 11:43

Does it need to be a T bar OP?

Clarks Janey June are my absolute favourite
Discontinued but have likely been replaced using a different name
Do check Vinted as I bought a BN pair on there

uncomfortablydumb60 · 16/04/2025 13:22

ECCO do them too( again on Vinted)
I’m disabled and wear these instead of sandals.

uncomfortablydumb60 · 16/04/2025 13:22

Oh and I wore them to my sons graduation with a nice dress and didn’t look out of place

I have a pair of these and they are really good quality and comfortable. They come in loads of colours. The company sells on Amazon too if you want to look up reviews - I was a bit dubious as they’re not a known brand and not real leather.

Have you looked at Joanie?
I love their vintage shoes but sadly I don't do animal products so no good for me.
