Just want to show off my ear stack

Have finally been able to change out the bar my daith was pierced with for a decorative ring and I love it. Think I now want to get an outer conch and wear a double ring there, then I'm done.

Just some shameless ear geeking out because I'm enjoying it today.

Wow that's beautiful. Really love that. Also really like your hair. Any chance of seeing more? Considering a short cut.

Mumteedum · 15/04/2025 09:31

Clicked on this to find out what an ear stack is. I feel old 😁

BumbleBeegu · 15/04/2025 09:40

Really pretty choices OP. I recently got my ears pierced for the first time…aged 60…and felt very proud of myself too 🤣 Yours are lovely 🥰

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 15/04/2025 09:45

Never heard of an ear stack and clicked on the thread out of curiosity! I'm a conventional 'one earring in each ear lobe' wearer, but I think yours look really pretty, especially with your short hair cut!

Thank you kindly 😊I'll see if I can pull off a pic. I have it buzzed asymmetrically on both sides with some longer portions.

Love it! Looks fab 😍

Would love to see any other ear stacks if people have them to show 😍

I'm having a nightmare getting my daith changed from the standard bar. I bought a hoop from Laura Bond but no peircing place will change the it unless it's with their own jewellery. Very frustrating.

@psuedocream3 I wouldn't necessarily advise this but I did the change at home, or at least DH did. It's a fiddly bugger though and you definitely need a second person with a steady hand and good eyes. My piercer does apparently do changes on request but I've been to her several times (she made 3 of those holes including the daith) so we have a relationship.

Really stunning OP. The ear stack, but also your hair.

menopausalfart · 15/04/2025 12:01

I've not changed my daith in 17 yrs. 😂
I think I may need to take a look at what's out there now.

Thank you. Your hair is great. Also other ear

thehorsesareallidiots · 15/04/2025 16:55

There are some gorgeous daith rings IMO @menopausalfart . I'm lusting after these. Am definitely getting my piercer to change them in and out next time though.

Just wanted to say, thank you for posting, I decided after your post to brave changing my own daith and it was actually really easy. My daith ring is similar to yours but in white gold.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 16/04/2025 21:15

I have:

Lobe+ daith ( gold hoop)

Lobex2 + tragus (stud) + forward helix

So that's a 4+2 I feel one ear is misrepresented and I really need something to even it up . Not another forward helix though , little bugger to heal . Maybe....a 2nd lobe but further along going into the cartilage?

Whoop! You are brave if you did that entirely solo. I actually could not get one of my daiths to click closed and had to go to my piercer to sort it out yesterday, but I genuinely find it so hard to grapple with those because I can't see the holes at all.

Pics!

Mid helix or higher lobe, maybe? Some people have loads of lobe space.

Looks fab, so jealous as I can't even get 2 piercings because of infections.

psuedocream3 · 07/05/2025 09:24

Ohh nice!

I've got some new jewellery arriving today, looking forward to trying them on.

notnorman · 07/05/2025 09:51

They’re beautiful. I would love more earrings but I’m guessing the piercings hurt!

Cartilage piercings do hurt more than lobe, no question, but it's over very quickly. The healing can be a pain, but it's much easier for piercings tucked inside the ear that don't catch on things.
