Covering Grey in Pregnancy

Looking for some advice on what others use or used to keep greys at bay during pregnancy.

I’ve been using John Frieda’s defy shampoo but today I’ve been wondering if it’s actually safe? Has anybody used it during pregnancy?

I’ve read the advice regarding hair colouring during pregnancy and will eventually get it done in a salon but I’m trying to hold off as long as I can.

Are there any other natural products or dyes people would recommend? I’ve dark brown hair and usually get a semi-permanent dye in the hairdressers.

I asked my GP and multiple midwives about dying my hair while pregnant. They all looked slightly bemused and said it was fine.
my sister used henna when she was pregnant.

Thanks for that. Yes, I know it’s probably fine, but I’m still feeling a bit worried about dying it.

I dyed my hair throughout. I would not fret.

You can get the sponge-type root cover powder from Amazon

I’ve used naturetint from Holland and Barratt’s. I think that’s what it was called anyway. Slightly more natural than other box dyes.

I think most people just continue to dye their hair as they always had. I know I did and everything was fine. Midwife said it's totally fine and hair dresser said she does it all the time

I had a chat with the hairdresser today and she said they will use semi-permanent colour with no ammonia and said they have pregnant women in all the time.
