Lovely comfy shoes for a wedding as mother of groom

My ds is getting married in a couple of months - haven't nailed down my dress yet but it wil be long and floaty as it's very much a chilled country wedding vibe. I'm looking for some lovely sandals or pretty flat wedges. All the shoes I've seen this year are great for work/hiking/pottering but not very weddingy.

I'm tall (I think too tall) so flat is good though those flat leather bases aren't comfy all day. Could easily change from ceremony to evening into something comfier, Budget not the main thing - up to £200 would be fine but I'm equally happy with £30!!

It would be easier to look for shoes once you have chosen your outfit, imo.

Have you looked at Marks and Spencer?
They've a massive choice. I've just seen some suede kitten heels on there for £80 that look really nice.

Lots of wedges too.

ETA I didn't add the link. It just did that automatically.

I'm in a similar position...but with an attractive bunion. So I need wide fit comfortable shoes. Preferably navy, not black.

I wore heels during the day, then bought white trainers to wear at night for dancing! All the women changed into flats.

With that budget I would look at Sargasso and Grey shoes, I am still trying to find an excuse to get a pair myself!

Like these. I would choose a dress first though!

I have my nighttime shoes...it is my being photographed in shoes I can't find!
@Chewbecca those are very lovely. I really want the green suede shoes, which I really don't need!

100% go with Sole Bliss , you have the budget and they are so so comfy , accommodating to bunions etc !

@eggandonion look at Sole Bliss- they are so
comfortable, wide, and have a special bunion panel. And are still pretty! Their block sandals are the only heels I can wear without pain but by some magic they aren’t just tolerable, they are really nice to wear

Ive never bought anything from Esska but I’m considering it. I did look up reviews for them , and they seem to be considered very comfortable.

Yes a block heel is the business! Weirdly Primark wide fit pumps fit me perfectly, but they don't really go with a posh outfit!
