On the hunt for a slimming swimming costume similar to this one from Sea Folly

As the title says am hunting for a slimming swimsuit like the one pictured

Does anyone have this one? Am considering ordering from M&S as it’s not available in-store

Does anyone know of similar high street versions at a lower price point than this one which costs £105

I am 5ft 3 and weigh around 65kg on a good day…aiming to lose 5kg before summer is upon us and looking for decent swimwear now rather than panic ordering online a few days before we leave!

Thank you Grin

There are very similar ones in next. I can recommend

It looks like a very normal swimming costume. Why do you have to be slimming?

I’m looking for a shaping/tummy control swimming costume because I often do not like how I look in swimwear & looking for all the help I can get as well as trying to lose some weight before summer!

@TurquoiseDress I got some fab ones from Amazon after M&S stopped doing my favourite one. Surprisingly, after a previous disaster, the more recent ones fit exactly as the size chart suggested. The brand was CUPSHE, I bought through Amazon for the free returns but they have a UK site with money off if you download their app.

This is an M and S own brand version. I find their swimsuits very flattering. Don't go up too much size wise or they end up coming up a bit high on the bottom for my liking. (So for me, the 16 and 14 both fit, but the 16 obviously has more room for manoeuvre so ends up coming very high on the legs.)

Thank you looks good, positive reviews

I searched Seafolly as I previously had a few bikinis & swimsuits from them- bought for a bargain price from TK Maxx!

If you have time further a rummage in TK Maxx?
All of the top swimwear brands, you might be lucky!

MananaPenelope · 12/04/2025 12:03

I’ve got that SeaFolly swimsuit and I love it OP, no help at all.

You’re right, this isn’t an urgent search for swimwear, summer holiday is months away…I used to have much more patience in TK Maxx pre-kids! I need to do a solo visit Grin

Also @TurquoiseDress you can actually filter by tummy control and I have seen they do long torso options. There is a lovely new TC red one I may treat myself to! I have two floral ones from there, both are lovely (rxrcoco and doulafass sell identical costumes on Amazon and sometimes the price is better so do check, sometimes different colour choice). Really pleased with what I got, especially as I can get 3-4 instead of only one expensive one).

pandora206 · 12/04/2025 12:09

I have a WIN.MAX tummy control swimsuit from Amazon which is quite flattering. They have lots of different colours and patterns.

Ohnobackagain · 12/04/2025 12:18

@TurquoiseDress @Ineffable23 this is the one I’ve had in the past (in red and navy). I also got this one from ebay ‘new unused’ and some sellers do this one with tags removed. Glad they have brought it back. I have to size up for torso length though.

edited to say - the one @Ineffable23 posted!

Summertimeblahness · 12/04/2025 12:31

I have both the sea folly one and the m and s version. The m and s version is okay but doesn’t compare imo.

utterexasperation · 12/04/2025 12:50

Have a look in your TK MAXX or online eg

Cyclingmummy1 · 12/04/2025 12:52

Buy the Sea Folly.

I had one and absolutely loved it. When it perished (it got a lot of wear as we lived abroad), I bought a cheaper version. I hate it but as it was a cheaper version, not a cheap version, and we don't live in a warm climate any more, I can't warrant a new one.

jambunny · 12/04/2025 15:18

M&S do a tankini in a very similar design, I bought one just before Christmas. Very happy with it.
