Would you cut this hair into a just-past-chin length bob?

I wear it in a ponytail almost every day. It takes a long time to style.

I had short hair for many years and it was so much quicker and easier.

It has taken a long time to grow it out and I feel like I don’t make the most of it by always wearing it up. But I‘m so scared of regretting it.

And please ignore the state of my hair, I haven’t been to a hairdresser since before covid! I’ve been cutting it myself 🫣

I’d cut it. But I have curly hair and would love a bob - always want what you can’t have.

Do it! I've just done the same after months of being too scared to have my long hair cut off even though it was in a pony tail every day. I love my new bob and don't regret it at all, and if you don't like it you can grow it again.

Yes. The length isn't doing much would look just as nice if not better shorter

Yes but leave it long enough to be able to still tie back just in case you dont like it. And if you don't like it then remind yourself it is just hair and it will grow again!

Yes but would transition via a lob first since there’s flexibility for lots different styles still and yiu can trial how you feel with a shorter length before committing to a more drastic reduction of length!

I went from just below shoulder length to Pixie, but did it in 3 separate stages on the advice of my hairdresser and I'm glad I listened to her as it wasn't such a huge "oh shit" moment when I finally went short! I love having short hair and can't ever imagine having longer hair again.

It looks really great, I've recently gone for a similar length bob and I love it. I've found I can wash it and leave it to dry with frizz ease serum in and it has the Italian bob look, or I wear it straightened or wave it with my straighteners. I am really enjoying experimenting with different styles, much easier than long hair.
