Retained eyebrow roots

When I pluck my eyebrows I often get a bit of root left in. Is there a way to avoid this?
I’m housebound so can’t get out to have them threaded which I know works better.

put a hot towel over eyebrows first to open pores and always always pluck in direction of hair growth. I find angled tweezers better too than pointed or flat ones but that’s just my preference

I will try the heat first, already do the other things. Thank you
