Mother of groom dress help. June wedding fancy barn venue

Another plea for help for an outfit please!!
I'm size 12 on top and 8 from the waist down.
5 foot 5, longer body and shorter legs. Decent 32e boobs. No waist, athletic build flat tummy and slimmish hips .
I want to look classy but not old and boring! Doesn't have to be super safe but no cut outs or bodycon!
I'm thinking midi and short sleeves probably, and fabric that I won't sweat to death in if it is hot.
Probably not floral.
Budget up to 200 and I'm going to Cheshire Oaks on Sunday so can try stuff on at shops there if needed too.
I'd love any suggestions please!!
And when I have a dress will appreciate help with potential cover ups and shoes!

I was in your position last year and am a similar size to you. I found the perfect dress in Roman, it was smart, classic and ( probably most importantly) comfortable. I didn’t want to look like mutton dressed as lamb or on the flip side matronly. I received several compliments from various people both on the day and from the photos.

I'm mother of the groom in five weeks time (eek) and hit success in Hobbs. Went round the entire town with DD3 who was also looking for a dress and she found absolutely nothing as all shops seemed to have gone either Prom or 'Summer in Greece' with dresses. Tried on two in Hobbs and I was away (she still hasn't found anything, but as she's not MOTG it doesn't matter quite so much).

I like the green dress @Punsandroses but it looks very long!
Will definitely try the shops you mentioned (never been to fancy shops like this haha)

with a raspberry leather jacket and wedge heeled shoes (I have really bad feet and struggle with heels, but the dress really needs heels so I found some soft blue wedges).

Funnily enough it was green but calf length and it had a key hole shaped cut out on the back and a tie at the waist. Price wise it was about £65 which I thought was reasonable especially as it was ( hopefully) a once in a lifetime occasion.

That hobbs one @Bigearringsbigsmile is too dear for me but it would suit me.
Not sure if your dress would suit me @Vroomfondleswaistcoat but I will take a look!
Any other ideas very welcome!
