My teenage son has a thick wodge of hair on the top of his back, it sticks up over his collar and he has been really conscious/ sensitive about it. We have waxed, shaved, hair removal creamed and it just grows back thick and bushy. He has pale skin and very dark hair. We can’t afford proper laser treatments and but I keep looking at the at home IPL but need recommendations. I can probably afford about £200 because at the end of the day, it is only for him and a small patch (10-15cm square). It’s not pigmented at all underneath. I know they don’t get rid of hair completely but it would be great if it thinned it out. any recommendations would be gratefully received.
