I love Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess but find it doesn’t last long at all, it seems to wear off after about an hour or so! Can anyone recommend anything similar but more long lasting?
thanks so much 😊

you might like Zoologist Chameleon.

luna2025 · 02/04/2025 21:05

I like next summer sun, it’s a dupe. Plus cheaper so you can always top up

TizerorFizz · 02/04/2025 21:13

Eau de Parfum. Not EDT. Always a good brand. I like old fashioned ones like Guerlain Chamade. Miller Harris also good and Acqua di Parma. Look at discounts on Allbeauty and similar. I never buy dupes. Universally cheap and nasty.

TizerorFizz · 02/04/2025 21:15

Why not go to a department store and try a few out. See what lasts and then check the price on line.

LuckySantangelo35 · 02/04/2025 21:17

Thanks for the suggestions!
is Daisy by Marc Jacobs a nice perfume?

Have you tried Orange Blossom by Jo Malone? It’s divine!

TwilightSkies · 02/04/2025 21:26

The perfume parlour dupe of bronze goddess lasts a lot longer than the real
one and is MUCH cheaper.
If you want a summery vibe, I’d recommend Alien Goddess by Mugler. Again, get the dupe!

I love Daisy by Marc Jacobs and wore it for years- the original one. Fancied a change and found Miller Harris online. You can order a sample box of 8 for about £30 and then get that cost redeemed if you buy a full sized bottle. There are so may to choose from but I ended up with a really summery Hydra Figue and just getting a new one Scherzo - also love one called Rose Silence. Quite pricey - £130 ish a bottle but a big bottle and long lasting. The tester leftovers are great for taking on holiday or just keeping in your pocket or bag.

Daisy, La vie est belle, flower bomb, bamboo, bronze goddess, clinique aromatics elixir.

Catwoman8 · 02/04/2025 21:39

Daisy by Marc Jacobs
Flower Bomb by Viktor & Rolf

Those are my go to ones, I like Daisy for the day time and flower bomb for nights out as I feel like that is stronger and more long lasting.

TizerorFizz · 02/04/2025 21:55

They are all sweet and flowery though. I like something a bit more complex.

femsrad · 02/04/2025 22:01

Curve ball. Try Imaginary Authors, their scents are so different. Look them up x

Oh sorry, I didn’t realise there was a budget. It is lovely though!!

Deathraystare · 03/04/2025 11:46

Depends if you mean the original (and true" Miss Dior. The new one is sweet (UGH!).

Yes the original!

SiobhanSharpe · 03/04/2025 12:04

Diorissima OTOH is very long lasting with a true lily of the valley scent. (Hence not a lot like Bronze Goddess but much nicer than Aromatics Elixir, for me anyway. I think BG is also quite unlike AE, itself a bit of a Marmite frag, IMO.)

SiobhanSharpe · 03/04/2025 12:05

And needless to say Diorissima is also £££.

TizerorFizz · 03/04/2025 12:08

@LuckySantangelo35 You won’t get Dior via any outlet. Virtually no reductions. However other very good long lasting brands do get reduced. Very cheap perfumes are blended chemicals. Just no natural ingredients at all. So poor quality. You get lasting by buying better.
