What jackets are everyone wearing this year?

Following with interest! I’m seeing a lot of bomber jackets about and I think I’d like one but haven’t found one I love yet.

This one arrived from Next today, good fabric but a very strange fit. The shoulders don't seem to have enough room. It's packed up ready to be returned.

I posted this on another thread, but worth including here I think. I have it in the dusty pink and the stone, and they get compliments all the time:

That would be really nice if it didn't have the stupid pocket on!

The pocket looks absolutely fine to me and clearly to the multifarious people who've commented favourably, but it's a mater of taste.

I’ve got this in khaki https://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-cotton-twill-jacket/khaki/p113007918 and a bomber jacket I got from Vinted.

I’m living in this at the moment.

Sezane jacket

I know it’s this year's fashion, but I hate the fact that it’s so hard to find one that isn’t too short. Cropped/boxy jackets don’t look good on people like me (tall, big bum.)

@upsofloating oh I love that Whistles jacket. I might try the taupe. I love the pockets too-adds interest.

Safari jacket. I like a longer length but lots are cropped at the moment. Oversized bomber jacket. Loads around and M&S do good ones. Some showerproof. A trench coat .

It’s pretty oversized, so go for your normal size or even go down a size for a neater fit.

The whole point of 2025 bomber jackets is to be roomy. Going smaller is a bit retro.

I’ve just bought the Linen cropped jacket in Alabaster from The White Company, and have had so many compliments! It’s shorter than I’d usually wear, but seems to work. Also much warmer than it looks as it’s got a good quality lining.

I like this but it looked terrible on me. It is much shorter in real life. I don't quite get the lure of bomber jackets, I dont think they flatter anyone.
