Looking for a black trouser suit and accessories, shoes, shirt, etc...

I'm looking for a new trouser suit, which needs to be black or I suppose maybe navy at a push. Quite a formal/serious work environment, with a lot of Very Important Egos floating around, occasional media presence, etc.

I'm size 8-10, but with an E-cup bra size which can be problematic (the rest of me is an 8 but shirts and jackets can sometimes need a size up). 5'5" so average height.

Shoes or boots need to be something I can stand or walk in - I'm often on my feet for a fair bit of time.

Budget-wise, I prefer not to go above £400 for a suit because if I do, I'll end up wanting to 'keep it for good' and not actually wear it...

Inspire me, please?

I've got a Hobbs jacket and trousers and they are good quality. You can often get a bargain on Vinted.

I think the black Me & Em suits look nice. I can't justify the expense though as I work in a really informal industry.

Have you looked at Cos and Jigsaw? That's where I actually buy my formal workwear from.

I quite like Me and Em, yes. I actually like the Hobbs wrap-style suit jacket too, but it'd be a bit of a change - wonder if I could pull it off... It's well within budget...
