How can I make these straps longer?

I have shoes very similar to the picture. They are comfortable in every way other than the straps are a little tight around my ankles. I usually wear them with trousers so it doesn't matter but, I'd like to wear them with a dress.
To do this I would need to make the straps slightly longer but have no idea how to as they're sewn into the shoe.
Does any one know of any "hacks" or something I could buy to do this?
Thank you

Can you remove the buckle and re-attach it using elastic?

I would cut the existing straps off and replace with ribbon and tie.

Get your cobbler to look at popping another hole in.

Yep, drop Into Timpsons and get an extra hole or two punched in each strap.

If that's not enough I'd look into moving the buckle. Eg, take it off the current elastic and attach it to a new piece of elastic then secure new elastic to old. Secure being the operative word, it'll need to be well stitched.

Thank you. I've been to the cobblers and had 2 more holes popped in each strap which has done the job.
