Struggle with summer clothing

Hi all, I need help with spring/summer clothing. I’m 25 and 5ft tall.

This is a bit tricky but I’ve always really struggled with spring/summer clothing.
I love winter because my universal go to is jumpers, but once we get to warmer weather I don’t know what to wear. I don’t like showing off my stomach or cleavage, or anything too tight fitting.

I also don’t wear uniform at my job, so it needs to be smart casual which rules out some things I could wear in warm weather (eg tank tops). It’s supported living so we don’t really wear work trousers etc, more like jeans, but obviously nothing low cut or inappropriate.

Can anyone give me some tips? Thank you!

I should think you would be able to find a complete work wardrobe at

Uniqlo

Have you already looked there? Perfectly plain, simple clothes.

For outside work you could look at

Damson Madder

though I obviously have no idea if that is your sort of style.

There are lots of brands that specialise in petite clothing - but if you choose wisely you should be able to find most things outside petite ranges. Using a good alterations service will broaden your options immeasurably.

Stripey tops are my go to when I don't know what to wear. They are cute, can be dressed up or down and you can choose a fit you feel comfortable with. Most brands offer a good selection

I'm on the petite side too and find it much easier to wear a dress in the summer than separates. I layer with a cardigan or a jacket depending on how formal I need to be. Shoes are either trainers, mary janes or sandals. There are lots of places you can have a hunt about to experiment on the cheaper side that carry petite ranges. Try Marks & Spencers and Roman. Good luck.
