Full length slip - nicer than M&S?

My daughters getting married in a couple of months and I need a slip for under my dress. I have several from M&S as wear a lot of dresses, but am looking for something a bit more special - any suggestions on where to look please? I’ve had a google and the results are all very old fashioned and certainly not nicer than what I have!

Googling "silk slips" brings up loads of other brands I've never heard of who might or might not be any good.

What is your dress made of?

These are cotton. I think cotton slips sit well under silk, viscose or polyester but not cotton and silk slips sit well under cotton but not silk.

I have these Hanro Ultralight full length slips in an airy very lightweight cotton & love them.I've worn them with linen, cotton & silk & they don't seem to cling.

I have the pure silk half slip. Unfortunately I don't think they make a full length one any more but I recommend the half slip.

Enjoy your day ! I was MoB two years ago on the hottest day of the year...had to change from first choice fitted dress to a cooler silk one half way through the day.
