Best sun cream

Looking for recommendations on good and reliable sun cream.
Historically I have always used what ever is on offer along with my supermarket shop. But presumably there are much better options out there.
I like the feel of the oil type sprays but I always burn as the coverage seems to be patchy.
The next holiday will be a very warm
one and I want to be well protected!

La roche posay's spf 50 is good. So here is my routine that I follow with tretinoin:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
LRP spf
Evening:
Cerave moisturizer,
Started with Tretinoin (0.025) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

I like Altruist. I’m really pale and feel safe with it.

i am 40 but with very pale skin and have previously had melanoma and i am incredibly careful with suncream and with kids with it. I love the boots soltan kids spf 50 eight hour stuff, its thick and doesnt feel great but i dont burn when used properly. neither does my DD. its great for the money, highly recommend

Same, used it for years. Absorbs easily, good value, a pea sized bit is all that’s needed. Doesn’t pill when applied over other serums etc.

For body, I honestly find Aldi’s spf the best, face le Roche posay (good god let them never discontinue or I’m in serious trouble!!)

For body I like the Lidl Cien range, both the kids SPF50 spray lotion and the sport SPF 50 clear spray. They're effective, inexpensive, and don't feel greasy. For face I like La Roche Posay anthelios, but it does tend to leave yellow marks on white tops.

I love my E45 facial soft its really moisturising too.

I tried Lidl Cien spf50 too and its good
