Lip stain

Anyone tried it? Does it work? I am over 50 and find my natural lip colour has faded a bit, and lipstick just doesn’t stay on (or bleeds a bit, despite lip liner). Any particular recommended brand?

Hi, my lips are really pale. I use Benetint (by Benefit) every day, a small amount just gives them a little colour. I’ve tried a few different ones but that’s the best.

I use Rare Beauty and yes it works. If I’m working I use the lip stain in the morning (7am) with Vaseline, a top up around lunchtime (1pm ish) and if I’m going out in the evening would top up then too - I drink a lot during the day but colour stays well.

Benetint is really good and perfect with a clear gloss or balm on top. It's expensive though. Amazon do a cheap one but not sure if it's as good. amzn.eu/d/8Ps097N

NYX Fat Oil Slick Click sticks might work for you OP They are very pigmented.

I’ve just ordered both colours of the cheap Amazon one so I’ll let you know how it goes!
