Hair Styling Tool Help!

I’ve read a lot of reviews on Dyson Airwrap and similar but it’s difficult to know how it’s going to turn out on my hair type, so I wondered if anyone has similar!

My hair type is fairly similar to Taylor Swift’s, as an example. It’s highlighted and naturally a dark blonde colour. Length is somewhere below the shoulder depending on when I last had it cut. It’s somewhere between wavy and curly, but I’ve never really worn it like that because I’m a millennial and so straighten the life out of it! It’s quite thick but each individual strand is on the finer side. It holds a style really well once I’ve put the effort in. For example it would hold curls for a couple of days. I don’t struggle with getting volume (the opposite really).

I’m after a bouncy blow dry sort of look, that’s smooth and not frizzy.

Does anyone have similar hair and can recommend something?

My Dyson airwrap died just out of warranty (which should not have been a surprise given my experiene with Dyson hoovers.

I loved the airwrap, but couldn't bear to spend that much again so got the GHD duet and it keeps my fine hair smooth for a week. I have curly hair, but can't be arsed with a curly hair routine. Even rain doesn't totally undo the wonder if the GDH duet.

A week. I have to wash it before it needs restyling.

I'm 50. I like my hair more now than I ever have.

Great tip thanks! I have a ghd hairdryer too.

Ha yeah my Dyson vacuum cleaner has had so many replacement parts I don’t think it still qualifies as the same item I bought 5 years ago…eugh!
