I've fallen in love with this jacket from Zadig & Voltaire but the price is somewhat eye-watering! Please help me find a dupe. Happy with suede or faux. UK 8, 5'3".

Mint Velvet have it in brown and camel for around £250.

I got a similar one on vinted.

I'm sure I saw a dupe on Trinny, so it will be Zara or Cos. Also Marks and Spencer have a very similar utility jacket

Yes, there are loads around that are similar but I don't wear brown or camel really. I have tried on quite a few, but the fit and colour or this one is something else. I didn't want to take it off!

I can't see anything similar on the COS or Zara sites either but they may have sold out.

Big Sézane fan but unfortunately the Will doesn't work on me at all, the proportions are too long and it does me no favours. If they did it in blue I'd be tempted to try again.

I don't mind spending up to £400 but £800 is just too much.

Yes, I saw that one the other day and it's lovely. Khaki is not good for me alas.

I think just buy it! In this situation I never am really happy with the substitute.

If you can't find anything at all that's as good, would you be able to buy it as long as it's within your annual budget for clothes? If it is, then as long as you don't bust your entire budget you could have it and be frugal for the rest of the year. I suppose it depends on how badly you want it. :)

Look at how much you'd be saving the planet if you only bought one new item (the jacket) this year and shopped at Vinted for the rest of the year! I think you owe it to all of our grandchildren to be environmentally responsible. 😇

Z&V have sent me a 10% code but it sold out in S on their website. I could ring the store and see if they'll accept the code over the phone and post it to me. Still a lot of dosh. Can't bring myself to do it 😂
