Portrait of a Lady - I was out and about a fair bit today (South Ken/Knightsbride/Ox circus etc) and it really felt like everyone was wearing POAL! Even the tube - like they were pumping it through the vents 😂.. has anyone else noticed this or is it my peri sensitivity again? Any other prevalent fragrances in your neck of the woods?

I'm in central London 3/4 days a week. Mostly it smells of chips and weed.

London always smells of dust and soot to me, with wafts of diesel and dog shit.
I like POAL. Maybe I'll have to revisit sometime soon.

Not in London but in my city all I smell is Bacarrat Rouge. It’s everywhere - the new Alien.

I confess I was in central London on Wednesday this week, wearing POAL. Which may be why I didn’t notice it on anyone else 😂

Anything is better than living close to a chippie when the wind is in the wrong direction.

It wouldn't be so bad if they made good chips that I could actually eat, rather than the greasy, lazy lobs that they produce.

Those wanting to smell, best bet is probably Harvey Nichols if outside London & I think John Lewis may also stock Frederic Malle perfumes now 😊

I was at work in S Ken today and nearly made a thread asking what’s the perfume everyone’s wearing that smells of insect repellent ? Not sure if that’s what POAL smells like though.

(any idea what the scent is though ? I weirdly like it )
