Hair loss serum - Champo, Nioxin or Bio-Pilixin

Help!

Need to stop hair shedding asap (peri plus weight loss).

I have been researching into several options and these three are my finalists. Anyone has tried them? Any feedback?

Any other ideas?

Are they sticky or greasy? Can straightened hair survive daily application without a daily wash?

Thanks!

I’m 52 and lost weight (60 kg to 45kg in 9 months), and my hair was coming out in huge clumps. I haven’t tried those serums you mentioned but have been using Regaine daily foam for women.

My hair shedding slowed down after a couple of weeks of use, and now after nearly 4 weeks of use I have lots of fine new baby hair at my hairline, so presumably the same throughout my scalp. It’s not greasy and I only apply a small amount each night so any effect on my hair texture (not straightened) isn’t noticeable.

I tried Champo. It completely dried out my hair, made it feel like straw so I stopped. I currently use Aveda.

I've been using keratese (sp?) anti hair fall serum for a few weeks now and I'm astounded at the results. I was going to buy champo but this popped up in a deal and I said id give a go . Usually when I wash my hair there are clumps of hair in the shower and when I brush I can pull a large handful of hair off the brush. Since using this I'm losing barely any hair and the thinning patch I had at my temple is filling in . I'm delighted and while it is expensive it's constantly on offer on different websites

Use regaine foam 5% minoxidil. This info coat me £250 from a private dermatologist. I’ve been using three years

I haven’t tried any of the ones you’ve listed but I use Plantur. 39 snd the hairloss has greatly reduced. I don’t like the conditioner though but the shampoo is good.

L'Oréal (who also owns Kerestace) have just recently introduced a cheeper version of this product under the L'Oréal brand.

Does it contain SLS or other nasties? I am looking for a shampoo that is free of unpleasant chemicals that also works. I tried Champo and found it dried my hair out and didn’t work at all. I also tried the serum.

Add iron and zinc supplements to your diet. Remember don't take iron and Vit D at same time.

Have a read at this before you decide:

Why shouldn't you take iron and Vitamin D together?

Champo shampoo was drying and the conditioner was passable but I followed it extra moisture spray.
It helped with thinning hair during chemo as with cold cap lost no more of 40% of my hair. I’m not sure if it helped with the shedding but it was very kind to my skin.
Champo serum is ok but my solution is Regain/minoxidil
Also, multivitamins with very high biotin. Recommend by the cancer research.
