I’m looking at a return to work after years out with little kids.
Office based, mid management, big engineering but not an engineer by role. Likely to be the only woman in the room 95% of the time. Mostly smart casual day to day with some formal/traditional meetings.
I’m pretty sure I can dress myself from the ankles up. I’d just do boots in winter. What the hell do I wear on my feet in the warmer weather? Anything open toe/back is a no (dress codes), trainers are too casual for client meetings, I don’t like ballerina flats or Mary Jane’s.
what the hell do I put on my feet?
(and yes obviously this is displacement worry so I don’t panic about what if I somehow forgot how to do the job while I was away having babies)
