Heat protector spray

I’ve recently transitioned to a short hairstyle but due to my weird, fine, a bit wavy but not really, hair, I’m having to heat style it almost every day.

I know I should use a heat protector but there are so many out there I’m a bit lost so I thought I would ask for your collective wisdom.

Ideally it should be something I can use on both wet and dry hair as I sometimes run the straighteners through my dry hair to sort out any weird kinks that appeared overnight.

Thanking you in advance!

I used colour wow pop and lock. I have fine slightly wavy hair and find it stops a lot of fly aways and adds some shine too. I put it on wet hair before blow drying and straightening but I wouldn't put a wet product in dry hair before running the straighteners over because I was told by a hairdresser years ago to make sure hair is totally dry before straightening to avoid damage. If I need to run the straighteners over the following day for a quick tidy up I don't put any extra product on it at all.

Tresemmé heat protection spray (black bottle with purple writing) is excellent- leaves my hair as soft and shiny as any more expensive one I've tried. I haven't found one to use on dry hair since the Paul/Phillip Smith coconut one in the white spray can disappeared off the shelves!

There’s a Moroccanoil one which is an aerosol that you can use on wet and dry hair.
I’ve tried Milkshake which was pretty good. Currently using Pureology which I’m quite impressed with.
