blepharoplasty In turkey

My friend travel to Turkey for under eye surgery, it was meant to be a 1 hour procedure he was down for 4 hours then ended up putting under for the procedure, within 4 hours afterwards he became seriously poorly. 3 hospitals later he was admitted to ICU his kidneys have failed and he’s got a major infection. Has anyone been through this or know any advice?

I think the consent he signed will probably waive any rights he has to sue etc..... and also his travel insurance may be invalid as he had elective surgery.
