Smashed powder compact

I bought a beautiful Chanel bronzer compact and have smashed it only a few weeks later 💔😩

Is there anything I can do to recover it ?

I saw online it said something about mixing it with alcohol - has anyone tried this and did it work?

There are YouTube videos that show people doing this, a step by step tutorial, maybe have a watch and see if it’s worth it. I’ve never done it, I’d probably just use it smashed, but I’d be pissed off every time I used it.

Yes I did it. How bad is it? If fully smashed you need to grind it all up, agg in the alcohol, press with paper towel then leave the alcohol to evaporate
If it's just a corner then you can try to just do that little bit.
It worked ok. Not good as new but back to usable 👍
