Anyone any idea what this red patch on my cheek could be and how I could get rid of it? I’ve had 6 lots of microneedling, chemical peels, laser and cryotherapy. Tried retinols, tretinoin, azelaic acid and it just won’t go! Help!!

Does it get flaky or dry? Itch maybe? Could be a Solar Keratosis, which is caused by sun damage. Worth getting looked at because in a small percentage they can become Basal Cell Carcinoma. Don't want to alarm you though, SK can be easily treated with a cream that triggers the body's immune system.

It looks like sun damage that you can treat with laser facials (CO2 and IPL). Use a high SPF when you leave the house if you don't already.

I'd pay to see a good dermatologist privately, which is the first step before treating it with other things. many also work as cosmetic doctors and can advise and treat.

You've probably spent a small fortune on those treatments but an appt with a dermo will be around £250-£300 and worth it.

No nothing like that. A dermatologist has looked at it and said it’s nothing sinister but isn’t sure exactly what it is. I’ve been told it could be rosacea or thread veins 🤷‍♀️
