I’m not that poster who posts every season to tell us how fantastic M&S is. I’ve been pretty housebound recently and I haven’t seen anything in the actual store for ages. Nothing for my age group neither young or past it.

the website has some lovely new in things. The tracks bottoms with the stripe down the side are a lovely shade of blue and nice and thick. I also bought the classic navy quilted jacket with the collar and there’s plenty of room in it I’m just about to test it outside in this weather. A cream boule cardigan with tie fastenings also a hit. Admittedly it’s not much but they were basics I needed. Not high fashion. I never go out out anymore 😀

I haven't bought from them for ages but have bought some linen rich summer trousers which are quite plain but decent quality and a good price - Navy blue pairs and white pairs. I have finally discovered the click and collect so collect - try on - refund all in one visit. Ha ha I have been dragged into the C21st. My local M&S is small and whilst the food hall is good the range of clothes isn't fantastic so I can rarely find anything I like.

The summer skirts are wonderful this year & pretty ageless I think.
I've bought the gingham skirt with the ruched waist & the indigo cheesecloth that's very similar to the Me & Em one. I've also tried on the very pretty broderie scalloped edge white cotton skirt. And the red/blue edged white cotton cardigan that I saw on Melissa Murrells Instagram page.

Agree op, I was in a store and saw some lovely items, a Per Una sweatshirt that isn't online (annoying) in a dirty pink kind of colour. A few blouses from Per Una also. I much prefer seeing things in store personally but then sizes are few and far between!

@Cantonet - I like that cardigan but it's sold out online - aargh to pesky instagrammers who publicise nice things 😁

@BasiliskStarei think M&S often sell out of items during the day, but seem to restock overnight. Or their current system can't keep pace with the orders.
