Bra that doesn’t show

I’ve bought a https://www.nobodyschild.com/products/navy-ruched-sleeveless-jumpsuit-d250528blu?queryID=a239f62ed44dab57bd4ef73e74e538b6jumpsuit]] and I love it. But you can see the top of my bra around the armpit area. It’s annoying. I’ve been looking but can’t see a bra that doesn’t come up high around that area. Any suggestions?

That's high...are your bras fitted properly at the band or are they riding up?

I mostly wear the Uniqlo vests with built in bra lately, so comfy, no visible lines and they don't shift around.

Soontobe60 · 17/03/2025 09:05

If you’re bigger of breast then bras will be deeper under the arms. I wear a bikini top under a couple of strappy things Matalan has decent cheap ones

Yes, I’m a 30GG. Proper fitting bras from bravissimo. I definitely need good support, just a lower cut, if it’s possible?

What type of bra did you try it on with? A t shirt or high apex bra will show but surely a balconette would be low enough?

TheChosenTwo · 17/03/2025 10:17

I’ve loved so many NC things but have had a few that just don’t work for my weird body shape/type. Not that I really think it’s weird but I’ve accepted that some things that I love don’t sit properly on me. My bra would probably not be hidden by that jumpsuit either although it wouldn’t necessarily put me off it - women wear bras - although I do get why you might not want to have it visible.

Flozle · 17/03/2025 10:20

Maybe a convertible bra with the straps attached? Could you move the hooks in a little if they are still showing l?

JollyJunee · 17/03/2025 10:25

The straps are hidden, it’s just a wee bit of the top/side of the cup shows in underarm area. I thought there might be a different style that would work.
I might try a strapless bra but they aren’t very comfy and tend to push boobs up so you get overflow under the arms.
the jumpsuit is so comfy and looks fab, I will wear it anyway. Just hate that bit of bra showing.
Balconette style brings more bra to the area I’m trying to avoid bra.
Thank you for suggestions.

At a GG fitting, I think finding something lower at the sides will be difficult as the lower sided bras would allow the breast to bulge out at the side. I sympathise, I'm an H cup. If it's only under the arms I would suggest getting a bra in as close a shade to the jumpsuit as possible..

Cyclistmumgrandma · 17/03/2025 10:45

I note the bra recommended above by @JollyJuneecomes in a navy.

DecafDodger · 17/03/2025 10:47

I would get a similar coloured bra and sew it into the jumpsuit, have done that with several summer dresses that otherwise kept slipping and exposing the bra. Or I guess small safety pins would work, if you don't want to dedicate a bra for just this jumpsuit.

Oceangrey · 17/03/2025 11:01

I have this issue on anything sleeveless. Sometimes it's possible to add more fabric in (I am short so sometimes cut it off the bottom of the outfit)

JollyJunee · 17/03/2025 11:03

I love the navy bra idea, will give that a go, thanks for all replies!
