Jacket to smarten up this for a wedding

Can anyone suggest a way to smarten this dress up for a wedding please? June wedding.

Some kind of cropped jacket, picking out one of the flower colours in the dress?

I actually don't think you need a jacket with it in June. Also any jacket will clash with the frills.

I would smarten it up with fantastic shoes and a big clutch bag. Maybe a hat if it's that kind of wedding.

That's a lovely dress, and looks great on you. It's great for a wedding, and a jacket wouldn't suit it.

Thank you- not sure if you can make them out but I was wearing kind of neutral/pink shoes last time but they’re definitely not fantastic (to be fair they were only £12). I am awful for shoes - useless- I have been wearing crocs since well before they were trendy again… so would very much appreciate any bag or shoe advice! Thank you.

Thank you for this link- I have ordered a black one as I often attend funerals (I’m a nurse so we try to represent the team when patients die) and that’s perfect to smarten up my current funeral outfit!

Don’t hate me but it does have a slight look of ‘Oh, I’d forgotten I have that. It’ll do!’ It just doesn’t look either current or interestingly vintage. (It’s not a bad dress - just a somewhat dated one in colour, print, shape.) Do you have anything else?
