Hi I'm looking for opinions. Have my daughters communion and have get my hair done evening before the communion. . I'm going to get pinned curls. I'm just wondering do I let the hairdresser wash my hair when she is doing thd curls or should I wash it myself day before I get my curls done. Don't have best hair it's very frizzy. Not sure which will work best. Not option to get my hair done morning off communion. Thanks

I'd get it done in the morning. Discuss eith hairdressor. Have they confirmed they can do this techniqye?

Hi thanks for reply. Yes they said they can pin and curl
. It's a very early communion so my daughter is getting her hair done that morning snd I'm doing mine evening before.

Can you get them to do yours before hers even if it’s an earlier appointment? On the day will look much better.

Traditional pin curls were put in before bed, then you'd sleep in a bonnet. Talk to your hairdresser, she may agree that she can wash and pin your hair the day before (you'd leave the salon with damp hair) and you can take them out in the morning.

Rag rolling was invented to make the sleeping easier! Does she do that?

I’d let her wash and pin your hair tbh. That always works for me with my poker straight can’t-hold-a-curl crap hair!

Thanks for all the replies

I’d get her to wash and blow dry then put in the pin curls and you just take them out in the morning. A pain to sleep in though.

I recently had pin curls put in for my daughters confirmation
Got them done the evening before
Hair washed and blow dried into curls by the hairdresser
Put a bonnet on them to sleep in
Took the pins out at 7 am and hair was super curly and by 9 they had dropped to a lovely curl
I have never had so many compliments on my
hair.
I had a stress free morning .
I would def recommend them.
