Veja trainers

Im looking for new trainers, saw some Veja’s today and really like them. Didn’t have time to try any in though.

Are they comfy please? I have quite narrow feet and hate when shoes/trainers feel sloppy.

i have a pair and don’t find them comfortable but then I have high arches and find them tight. If your feet are narrow they might suit.

Shallysally · 14/03/2025 11:53

Thank you @lizzyBennet08. Do you have the esplar’s?

I have both. I think the esplars are slightly more comfortable for me in that they feel a bit roomier.

BringMeTea · 14/03/2025 12:10

Sold my esplars as so uncomfortable. I just don't have the will to 'wear in' trainers.

SunshineAndFizz · 14/03/2025 12:12

I don’t think they’re that comfortable either.

TofuFighters · 14/03/2025 12:25

I’ve got some from their vegan range, I think they’re called campo and they’re really comfortable. My friend has a pair of the esplars and said they took a lot of wearing to feel really comfortable but she loves them now.

AnnaMagnani · 14/03/2025 12:32

Mine were not comfy and I swear they caused my bunions.

I was going to buy some last year but I tried on all the styles and they just wern't comfy at all. I ended up getting some really nice ones from All Saints and they are very comfy.

loropianalover · 14/03/2025 12:40

I had two pairs for work as they seem to be an acceptable office trainer, but I sold them both on Depop as didn’t find them comfortable. They’re quite rigid and narrow, I felt like I might as well be wearing boots or loafers. If I’m wearing trainers they need to be comfy.

I have esplars. They're ok, I wish I'd sized up. My feet are wide and if I wear thickish socks they are tighter than I'd like. But they're fine for wearing out and about, they don't hurt my feet.

uggmum · 14/03/2025 12:59

I have some and find the are very high on the foot and rub a bit around the front of the top of my foot.

I bought some new balance trainers and they are ridiculously comfortable.
I can walk miles and miles in them.

They come in lots of colours. I have pink and green ones.

I have Veja campo trainers and they were perfect from the first wear - I could walk for days in them. I was really prepared for a bad wearing-in phase due to comments on Veja trainers but they were honestly amazing!

doubleshotcappuccino · 15/03/2025 11:17

Took me ages to get them comfy .. wish I had stuck with my stan smiths

SpiralSister · 15/03/2025 12:04

I have them and I really like the look, but they are so uncomfortable that I avoid wearing them - which is mad, because then I could wear them in and get some proper use out of them. Ho hum.

Shallysally · 15/03/2025 14:34

Thanks all. Going to avoid the Veja’s. Currently looking at new balance and All Saints.

the tongues on mine actually cut in to me - blood on them and everything.

That’s awful.
I tried a pair on today and it was an instant no. They just feel so uncomfortable and the laces are hard work to get right.
