Levi 501

[Firstshoes]

I've been after a pair of these for a while and finally bought some. I wasn't sure on size as I wear a 12 but they come in waist/leg sizes so I googled and apparently a 12 is a 31 inch waist. They've arrived and are massive so have to go back . I'm a 12 in most things but more 10-12 than 12-14. Any idea what size 501s I need to order? I have no tape measure handy. Thank you,

Could you check the size guide on the retailers website for a pair you already have that fit you? Then you’ll know that their size 12 is a 30 inch waist, for example.

I’m a 12 and wear a 29 waist in Levi’s if that helps?

I’m a size 14 and have a 30” waist pair of the 90s 501s! I would strongly recommend going to a shop and trying some on. Sorry! But jeans are difficult to get right and you’re spending a fair bit, you want them to fit you nicely.

It would be far easier just to buy a tape measure from Amazon tbh than all this faff

Have been looking on the website and they say 501s run large, and that they also have very little stretch. It's confusing. I'm planning to go in to a shop to try on, but the website offers a discount so will then order online. Such a faff!

I would strongly recommend just going into one of their stores. Their sales staff are helpful.
