What shoes/boots would you wear with this dress please?

Recently bought this dress from Marks... love it and it's really flattering but what should I wear on my feet while it's cold..? I'll be wearing navy tights. Thank you for any ideas. I'm desperately trying to fight frumpdon but need to be comfy and practical......

I might wear brown brogues with it and a blazer or oversized cardigan. I don't think I'd go as far as Navy tights though! But maybe try and style it a little geek chic without being too Momcore!

It was,and I'm not normally a fan of ballet pumps, but it's too early for strappy sandals.

Hopefully they do more of these column dresses @Emanwenym . I've got another one in black which was equally good value and so flattering... hides all the lumps and bumps 😁

Loads of this style on Boden (but 5 times the price!) that they're pairing with brown boots. Maybe get some inspiration on there?

Same here. Bare legs are fine in summer but not when it's 3 degrees.

Agree nude tights and tan ankle boots, with maybe grey chunky socks ruffled down about two inches showing above the boots

That would be ok too with the socks, but not bare, or looks bare tights only.

I wear navy tights (thermal and non thermal) as my default with dresses and no way am I frumpy!!!
Have navy knee high boots for smarter occasions but most of the time I wear calf high pink boots. They are really warm and comfy and look fun!!
Always worth adding a petticoat under your dress for additional warmth...
