What to wear for this interview?

I've got an interview next week. It is for a P/T job teaching children a life skill. The person interviewing me will probably be in a tracksuit.

It is an interview. Usually I would wear a formal suit, but this doesn't feel quite right.

Any ideas what to wear?

jeans, fresh T-shirt or shirt, blazer/jacket, nice trainers, necklace or scarf - what's your age/shape/colouring?

Chore jacket, neat t shirt, chinos, loafers. They needn’t be expensive - just at the level you’re comfortable with.

You’ll find all you need at places like Uniqlo, Community Clothing, Carrier Company (if you want to splash out).

I’m not sure your ‘age, shape, colouring’ have much to say here! Simple clothes is all.

Although, of course, it rather depends on the thing you’ll be teaching.

Soft skills - shaking hands and making small talk - you could wear a nice dress.

Swimming - something that makes you look strong and swift and capable …

I wouldn't wear denim to an interview. I'd go with trousers or skirt, shirt or blouse, and jacket with smart shoes. You want to look like you've made an effort. Good luck.

It’s swimming
