Sandal Recommendations

Hello
I'm looking for recommendations of some comfortable sandals, not Birkenstocks or anything with a footbed similar (too many expensive mistakes and blisters to go back there)
Size 5, tan or neutral colour, budget up to £150.
For context, I'm in my 40s, my holiday wardrobe tends to be midi and maxi dresses (plainish not floral or busy patterns) or tapered linen trousers.
I've got a few holidays coming up this year, both beach and city breaks, so something that could do both would be great.
I could manage a very slight wedge or platform, but nothing high.
I've also got chunky ankles, so I need to avoid ankle straps as they balloon in the heat.
Thank you

Possibly not your style but I have dr marten gryphon quads and absolutely love them.

Thank you. I've just looked, and they do them in a brown colour too, so I'll definitely pop to Schuh and try some.

These don't look like much but I can't recommend them highly enough. Unbelievably soft and comfortable, I've hiked for miles up and down hills in towns and cities in these and nary a blister or rub. And no issues with my broad feet swelling up / too tight ankles despite my expectations.

Thank you. The reviews look really good for those sandals, and they're such a good price. I've ordered them to try.

Have you looked at hotter? They are very comfortable

From someone who gets blisters wearing flip flops, I'd highly recommend these from sketchers, I can walk miles in them. Have had mine a couple of summers and actually just put them through the washing machine and they they've come up great!

Doc Marten or Fitflop would be my recommendations. Both comfortable and hard wearing. Fitflops aren't necessarily the most fashionable but there are normally some styles that are nice.
