Khaki jacket smart/casual

I bought one of these as utility is trending at the moment, it's a smart casual utility jacket not one with lots of pockets.
It fits beautifully but doesn't really do my skin colour any favours so i need to work out how to style it with a colour pop or .maybe white.
Any ideas how to style this.

Wear with chinos and a white shirt! Any neutral t shirt. Might look good with black wash jeans? Could be good with coral or a pale blue.

Badges/ brooches in colours that you find complimentary to you.

Good ideas thanks.

A scarf or t-shirt in a colour that suits you near your face. That will take the focus away from the jacket.

What's wrong with the jacket? Why take focus away from it? Loads are on line with t shirts underneath.

The jacket is lovely but the colour makes my skin look sallow. I can't wear red next to my face either. It was a good idea about the scarf.
I tried red lipstick once and everyone laughed it looked so bad 😁

Return it and look for something else in a colour that does suit you.

On the red lipstick looking awful and the Khaki jacket looking wrong, you just may not look great in colours with warm undertones.

Red lipsticks cam come with different undertones. MAC Ruby Woo blue based and looks good with cool skin tones. Dior 999 is a clear true red and looks good on neutral skin tones but will also work for everyone. Lisa Eldridge Dragon is orange based and looks good on warm skin tones.

There isn't just one shade of red, you definitely need to take your own skin tone into consideration.

@Gettingbysomehow I would just alter your makeup then. Or take it back. I'm just not so self critical. I agree red lipstick isn't for everyone on red and khaki. However you have all the pale colours and I'm assuming some colours suit you? A muted coral for example?

Oh yes, I won't return it I live the jacket. I'll just wear a scarf or a bright teashirt. I have a beautiful blue one that looks good with jeans. It looks fine with the green.

Could you link to the jacket please. I'm looking for a lightweight spring jacket and have looked at some utility style ones so a recommendation would be good

M&S have quite a few to choose from & their other brands. These are H&M, Holland Cooper and Sezanne.

It's next. It had to be suitable for work wear as well. It does look lovely on.
